Blast from the Past: Bell Bottom Jeans

One of the hottest trends that's been hitting the runway for this Spring is the return of the 70's! These throwbacks are not only classics, but they are flattering to the figure as well. You don't need to remember owning a pair of bell bottoms to rock this trend - sure, it may be recycled, but with a few modern twists it's become hip and fresh all over again.

From the runway to the real world this trend is wearable and adds a bit of chic quirk to an otherwise casual daytime look.

Wanna steal the look? It's a snap! Here are a few looks we put together to put you in the mood for a flashback. ;)

Look #1:
Get into the groove with the Charley 5.0 Cold Shoulder Blouse! This is not your typical denim button up - it's super soft, with a sexy cutout shoulder. Forget about that old rule of not pairing denim with denim. The Goldsign Sissi Jeans are a super stretch pant with a mega platform flare that will be channeling the Seventies the moment you slip them on. And don't forget to accessorize! The timelessness of the House of Harlow Nicole sunglasses paired with the sleek construction of the Linea Pelle Studded belt make these additions a no-brainer.

Look #2:
Angelina is channeling Earth Angel with an Edge in her Michelle Jonas Hippie Dress. This maxi is a killer - a celebrity favorite with good reason. Pair it with your favorite pair of sandals, the Nightcap Boudoir Cap and your Linea Pelle belt! But what's a groovy ensemble without a pair of killer earrings? Designs by Dinah has you covered with "Midnight".

Look #3:
What's a Seventies inspired look without a maxi skirt and some fringe? Kill two birds with one stone in the Maggie Ward Silk Chiffon skirt and the Koolaburra Audrey boot. The best part about these boots is that they come in other colors, are fleece lined, outrageously comfortable, and can be worn with your favorite skinny jeans. Ok, so maybe that's a few best things...but that's beside the point. Pair these killer pieces with a bohemian inspired top like the Acrobat Linen top, and a statement belt like the Linea Pelle Vintage Waist Belt.

Look #4:
The high-waisted jean is a staple for the season, and if you love the look you don't have to commit! The jeans come in loads of washes and styles - just look at these two from Charley 5.0 and J Brand. "Ring a Bell" will add a nautical flair, "Bette" is thrift store inspired. They both pair well with a fun print top, like the Torn by Ronny Kobo Eleanor. Wear it cropped or tucked to show off that sexy high waist! Throw on your Dannijo ring and your House of Harlow Sunglasses and your look is complete!!
