Heather and Saint Grace have been featured in the Brand Watch for Knits of S/S 12 by the Stylesight Trendboard! Ambience/ShopAmbience.com knew about this trend years ago but we are glad these great designers are finally turning heads and getting the praise they deserve. Here is a bit of the praise with a few of our comments thrown in:
LA-based Heather designs fashion-forward knitwear pieces crafted from novelty heather yarns. This luxe T-shirt (dress and skirt) resource uses customized knits which are mixed and matched with a variety of other medium such as woven silks, leather, micro-polu chiffon, and high twist cottons. Cowl necklines, double layers, draped backs, twist fronts and cinching are some key design details paired with high-low or asymmetrical hems. This style and fabric is fantastic; you will love wearing this line.
Saint Grace is a collection of luxuriously soft, modern basics, both designed and produced in downtown Los Angeles. Key fabrics include lightweight jersey, modal, pointelle jersey, Supima and Egyptian cotton, as well as fine-gauge cashmere. An aquatic color palette with pops of black and pink bring to life the S/S 12 collection, along with multi-colored stripes and tonal dip-dyes.
