Fall fashion is amazing this year. ShopAmbience is excited to announce that the first fall fashions are available now and the looks are really strong. It might still be warm outside, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t start incorporating the best of fall fashion into your current looks.
The key to transitioning to the next season’s fashion is incorporating the looks now, and there has never been a better season for pulling this off. This fall’s trends make transitioning seamless. Here are the key pieces to start looking for in stores:
Military inspiration. One of the trends our lead stylist, Grace noticed at the fall fashion trade shows was the popularity of military-inspired clothes. Cargo pants are back and better than ever this fall, but they can easily make an appearance now if you pair them with a racerback tank top for a sexy, on-trend look.
Leather. Leather might just be the biggest trend of the season, and it will transform your wardrobe. Look for leather statement pieces as well as leather accents on tops, dresses and jeans. Adding this trend to your outfits now is simple, too, because leather is in style year-round. If you’re concerned about leather or faux leather in the heat, opt for a coated denim, which will give you the leather look without the heat.
Dresses. Dresses are still a strong fashion statement. All lengths work, so look for mini, mid-length and maxi dresses to round out your wardrobe. At ShopAmbience, we love maxi dresses with boots for a boho chic vibe. Sleeveless maxi dresses have a place this fall, too: Layer a long-sleeve top over these dresses to bring your summer pieces into the fall.
Menswear. Trouser pants and blazers are great professional-looking pieces that can be dressed up or down. The trouser can work back to a sexy tank and sandals for a look worthy of a night out in the city, while the blazer goes back to jeans and a tank to create an instant urban vibe. Pant suits are back as well, and they’re sexy, polished and urban, offering an effortless style.
Peplums. This summer trend will last well through the fall. Keep the pieces you have now and add some new ones to continue to highlight your most important assets and keep a sex, feminine look. Try adding the Jay Godfrey Peplum Leather Top to your wardrobe and incorporate two of this falls biggest trends.
Leggings. With or without leather, leggings are a strong fashion statement this fall. We love the David Lerner Leather Tuxedo Legging to be on trend and warm once the weather gets a little cooler.
Prints, color block and stripes. This fall’s key looks are prints, color block and stripes, so keep an eye out for looks that incorporate one of these three patterns.
Boot cut. Good news: The boot cut is back, and it does wonders for your proportions. The leg balances out the hips and makes the leg look as if it goes on forever. Denim is still the woman’s uniform, and with boot cut, flare and skinny jeans all available, there’s a look for every body type.
